During this period we had 50 clients who participated in our residential therapy programme.75 persons came for Day-Counseling sessions.

We did awareness/outreach through Peer Led Intervention project and reached out to 50 high risk drug users in various areas of Dehradun and created awareness amongst them on safe Drug Injecting Practices and Safe Sex Practices as part of Harm Reduction Programme to reduce risk of HIV transmission.

On 8th April 2006 we did a fund raising concert at DOON SCHOOL and BOBBY CASH did a benefit concert for us. Shri Sudarshan Agarwal, Governor of Uttarakhand was the Chief Guest. About 1500 persons attended the workshop.

On 26th June 2006 on the International Drug Abuse Prevention and Illicit Trafficking Day we organized awareness drive in cooperation with Uttarakhand State Aids Control Society (UASACS). At 11 am we did Street Theatre at ISBT, Dehradun and 50 persons were present At 12.30 we did awareness at Railway Station, Dehradun and 75 persons were present. In the evening at 4pm we had an awareness workshop at Nijaat, Aam Bagh and the speakers were Mr. Aloke B. Lal, ADGP Uttarakhand Police, Dr. A.P Mamgain Additional Project Director UASACS. 75 persons attended the workshop.

On 2nd July awareness workshop was conducted at Bal Vinita Ashram, Tilak Road. 55 persons were present.

On 6th July awareness was conducted in Kaulagarh Village. 60 persons participated in the awareness session.

On 7th July 2006 awareness was conducted at Girls-Inter College, Kaulagarh Village. 60 students participated in the workshop.

On 29th October 2006 we did an awareness workshop in cooperation with Indian Medical Association at Nijaat, Aam Bagh. 60 persons attended the workshop.

On 13th December, in co-operation with Uttarakhand Police and Welham Boys School we did an awareness workshop on “Substance Abuse in Educational Campuses”. The workshop was held at Activity Centre, Welham Boys School. Over 35 Educational Institutions had participated and Mrs Kanchan Chaudhary Bhattacharya, Director General of Police, Uttarakhand was the Chief Guest. 80 persons attended the workshop.

On 15th and 16th January we did awareness in Maldevta area informing people about harms of addiction. We also did awareness at Government Inter-college, Maldevta and informed them about effects of addiction.

On 31st January 2007 we cooperated with UASACS and organized a workshop on Intravenous Drug Usage and HIV and about 35 NGOs participated in this workshop.

On 7th February 2007 ,Nijaat in cooperation with Uttarakhand Police and Welham Boys School conducted the 2nd workshop on “ Substance Abuse In Educational Campuses”. The workshop was held at Activity Centre, Welham Boys School. His Excellency Shri Sudarshan Agarwal, Governor of Uttarakhand was the Chief Guest. About 55 Educational Institutions participated in the workshop. 200 persons participated in this workshop.

From 5th February to 9th February we did awareness at Udham Singh Nagar and Lalpur. 200 persons were informed about ill effects of addiction.

From 18th February till 23rd February 2007 February we did awareness workshop at Welham Boys School and on the last day the students went to different parts of the city and did street plays on Addiction and HIV.200 persons watched the street plays on addiction which were performed at Jhanda Darbar, Railway Station, Doon Hospital and Gandhi Park.

On 15th March, Nijaat team and Mr. A B Lal ADGP ,Uttarakhand Police jointly did a workshop at University of Petroleum and Energy Sciences(UPES) in which 60 students and 5 faculty members participated. All throughout the year we did awareness and outreach in different areas of Dehradun, Rudraprayag and Udham Singh Nagar.

On 17th and 18th March we did awareness at Rudraprayag and informed 200 government school students and 50 adults about the effects of addiction.
