During the period 1st April 2009 and 31st March 2010 164 persons took admission in residential treatment programme. 80 persons were provided free Counselling,Residence and Meals and Medical Careand Medicines.Rest 84 were provided only free Counselling, Medical Care and Medicines. About 15 persons came for day-counseling sessions including some women and were given free Counselling.

The awareness activities were as follows:

On 6th April we did awareness at Bindal Bridge.

On 8th April we did awareness at Woodstock School for Staff Members.

On 10th April a team from Himalayan Hospital came to Nijaat and made a documentary.

On 21st April we did workshop at Welham Boys School for 8th class students.

On 2nd May and 4th May we did workshop at Summer Valley School for students of class 9th and 11th.

On 5th May we did workshop for students of Purkul Youth Development Society.

On 10th May we did awareness at Dhulkot near Selaqui.

On 26th May we did awareness at Bindal Bridge and about 40 persons were present.

On 27th May news on Nijaat was printed in Hindustan.

On 31st May news about Nijaat was written in AmarUjala.

On 28th,29th and 30th May we did awareness at Darlaghat,Himachal Pradesh on invitation from Ambuja Cement Foundation.

On 13th June staff of UASACS and their NGO partners visited Nijaat for information on Alcoholism,Addiction and Intravenous Drug Usage.

On 23rd June News about Nijaat was written in Garhwal Post.

On 26th June news about Nijaat was printed in I NEXT Newspaper.

On 1st August we did workshop at Asian School for students of class 9th and 11th.

On 18th August we did workshop at Doon School for students of class 10th.

On 23rd August an article was written in Hindustan on Drug Addiction with comments from Nijaat.

On 2nd September an article was written in Garhwal Post on Nicotine Addiction with comments from Nijaat.

On 12th,13th qnd 14th September Nijaat in collaboration with SPYM organized a Free workshop on “Specialised Care for Children Affected By Drug Abuse.the workshop was attended by 30 NGOs.

On 22nd September we did a Free workshop on Drug Abuse Scenario and Solutions at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration ,Mussourie for IAS Trainees.

On 23rd September we did Free awareness at Garhi Chowk in cooperation with Sahabhagi Project of EHA.

On 14th December we did a Free workshop at Nehru Memorial School ,Clement Town for 200 Students.

On 16th December team from TV100,Time TV and ZEE News came for interview to Nijaat on Youth and Drugs.

On 16th December we received feedback from LBSNA regarding the workshop we had conducted and gave us a score of 90% on our workshop content.

On 13th February we did Free awareness at Bindal Bridge.Karen Mayer MLA was also present.

On 3rd March 8 students and 3 Teachers of Doon School came to Nijaat and on 10th March came with cameras and took interviews to make a documentary on Nijaat.

On 6th March we did workshop for Woodstock staff.

On 20th March we did workshop at Sardar Bhagwan Singh Bio-Medical College ,Balawala for 500 students.

During this period Eighteen articles were written on Nijaat in different Newspapers.
