Mr. Prakash visited a pastor from village Ahi, P.O Pillour, Jalander, Punjab, to start an addiction awareness programme in different parts of Punjab(11 April 2015)

Nijaat conducted a workshop in T.I Project Bakralwala for I.D.U ,18 staff was presented their, the topic discussed was importance of rehabilitation for I.D users for their recovery. (22 April 2015)

Nijaat conducted a workshop in Govt. Inter College Raipur. The topic covered was how addiction pattern develop in our life. About 300 students & 10 teachers were presented there. (5 May 2015)

Nijaat conducted a session with nursing students in a mental health conference in S.R.M. I Jollygrant. The topic covered was counselling skills & understanding addiction. About 200 students including staff has attended the session. (7 May 2015)

Nijaat conducted a three days workshop in Rajkanya Inter college at Natwar village, Uttarkashi, about 10 staff and 400 student attended the workshop, then after we conducted an awareness session in same village with community, about 80 people were present there. The result was that few people wanted to get admitted in Nijaat for treatment (6,7,8 May 2015

On 26 Juneanti-drug day Nijaat joined hands with local police station at Garhi Cantt Nijaat as part of their drug control team. Same day we attended a workshop organised by Narcotics Beauro & Sacs with W.I.C, about 100 participants were presented there. (26 June 2015)

Nijaat had a planning meeting and discussion with The Doon School about how to control the use of inhalants among the street kids. (18 Aug 2015)

Nijaat conducted a workshop in Rashulpur village with Doon school, it was about how to control alcohol &nicotine, about 45 people were present there. (27 Sep 2015)

Nijaat had a meeting with Wood Stock School Mussoorie, discussion was how can we work together for long run, it was decided that we will work for their staff regarding their different issues. (10 Sep 2015)

Nijaat had a meeting with the Principal of ST. Joseph. The discussion was how can Nijaat help those students who are at beginning stage of their drug abuse(10 Sep 2015)

Nijaat participated in a workshop organised by Uttrakhand police, 35 street children from Bindal were present there. One of our ex client from Bindal area shared his experience about Nijaat. (3 October 2015)

Every Wednesday we go to H.C.H. Herbertpur, speaking on various topics of addiction with the community and different schools(16, 23, 30 Oct 2015)

Nijaat did a teaching session for Muslim community in a Madrassa, about 400 people attended the session. (8 Oct till 17 Dec 2015)

Nijaat visited Rorkee Engineering College, topic covered was substance abuse among students, about 800 students and staff were there. (9 Oct 2015)

Nijaat conducted a workshop at Woodstock School for 140 support staff on alcohol, drugs, nicotine and behaviour addiction. The duration of workshop was 2.5 hours approx.(13 Oct 2015)

Nijaat conducts awareness sessions every Wednesday in Saharanpur region with H.C.H

Nijaat conducted a three-hour workshop on roots of addiction, importance of family relationship and role of support group. About 45 support staff of Woodstock school attended the workshop. (14 Nov 2015)

Nijaat and Herbertpur Christian hospital have entered into a 12-week agreement in which Nijaat will train their volunteers and community field staff an addiction and nicotine control. (9 Dec 2015)

We discussed the root cause of addiction including how our emotions drive us to take a substance or participate in addictive behaviour. Three groups were formed i.e. one women's group led by Christina regarding personal issues one group on people having nicotine problem and one group on people having alcohol problem. About 35 participants were present(12 Dec 2015)

Nijaat visited block Saduli, district Saharanpur regarding addiction issues and nicotine control. About 15 E.H.A volunteers were present who got hands on experience. (16 Dec 2015}

Meeting with head of the department of Jolly Grant Himalayan hospital to organise a training workshop for trainee nurses of hospital (23 Jan 2016)

Nijaat conducted an addiction awareness workshop in Christi Jyoti Academy, Bhagwanpur, district Haridwaar, 200 people participated into the programme, issue covered was, understanding addiction, treatment and prevention. (26 Jan 2016)

Nijaat visited Mirzapur, dist. Saharanpur and did a training for residential students and community volunteers, 30 student and volunteers were present. (27 Jan 2016)

Nijaat conducted a training programme in H.C.H Herbertpur, in Saharanpur district, topic covered was understanding, screening plan, interaction plan, prevention. It was a two-day training about 35 participants attended the workshop. (2, 3 Feb 2016)

Nijaat conducted a 2.5hour session with about 40 supporting staff at Woodstock school on struggles in life and how struggles in life start sometime dominating us and start affecting us physically, emotionally and mentally. (13 Feb 2016)

Nijaat did a 2 days’ workshop for community in Saharanpur dist. with H.C.H Herbertpur, 40 participants were there. The discussion was I.D.U, marijuana control. (10,11 Feb 2016)

Nijaat had put a stall at police line on the occasion of drug abuse awareness programme launched by Uttrakhand (17 Feb)

Nijaat conducted a workshop at Eshakpur village, block Sadoli. Topic covered was addiction and family, 32 people from community attended the programme (25 Feb 2016)

Nijaat had a meeting with Christian Hospital Herbertpur for intervention & screening programme for community based workers, we had a discussion for a community detox plan in future. (25 Feb 2016)

We conducted a 2-hour workshop on co-dependency behaviour issues for 20 support staff of Woodstock school. (27 Feb 2016)

We conducted a 2-hour workshop on how our personality begins to develop during our childhood and carry the attitude into our adulthood causing problem for ourselves. (12 March 2016)

We conducted a 2-hour workshop with support staff of Woodstock school on identifying and healing of old emotional wounds including anger, resentment, hatred, bitterness and co-dependency & how we become co-dependent, why it is unhealthy and how can we detach and become emotionally healthy. (26 March 2016). This year news about Nijaat activities printed in so many newspapers.
